Super Sizer Resizing Tool #8119

The Super Sizer is an essential tool for proper shotshell resizing. This tool resizes the brass section of hulls to original factory specifications, which will allow them to drop easily into chambers and feed through magazines. If you've ever had a problem with shell fits or gun jams, it is highly likely that you have resizing problems.

Power-Ring resizing: MEC calls their unique resizing system the Power-Ring. It is also featured on their Sizemaster and Steelmaster reloaders. The Power-Ring system features eight steel fingers which encircle the hull's base and apply even pressure to reshape and resize the brass. The Super Sizer, along with a properly tapered crimp, is the key to solving problems with shell hangups in pumps and semi-automatic shotguns. A properly resized hull also eliminates chambering headaches with double guns.

Hulls conditioned with a Super Sizer will not stick or kink in progressive reloading presses, thus avoiding wasteful jam-ups or damaged loads.

Gauge Conversion: The MEC Collet & Pad #1308167 converts your Super Sizer tool to 10, 12, 16, 20, 28, or .410 gauge. Conversion takes about five minutes.

Instructions:

1. Loosen locking nut under base.
2. Unthread collet & pad assembly from base.
3. Replace with new assembly.
4. Adjust depth according to resizing requirement.
5. Replace locking nut.

Tools required: Crescent wrench & screwdriver.

Curmudgeon's Loading Tips:

Resizing high-brass hulls: If you are experience resistence when resizing high-brass hulls, try just a little bit of Mica Wad Slick on the brass, die, or resizing area of your reloader. A little dry lube goes a long way toward saving reloading sanity. Also, the MEC Super Sizer works very for all high brass hulls.
