Our Original Buffer is used in almost all types of shotshell loads, from 10ga to .410. A proprietary blend of buffering materials marginalizes density effect and create conditions necessary for optimal pattern density. Original Buffer cushions the shot payload during critical stages of transition through areas of constriction, reducing disturbance and chaos during initial stages of pattern development. Original Shot Buffer has also been recommended by leading experts for use as a case filler in centerfire cartridges.

| I am new to loading shot shell, so I am trying a lot of new and different products. I am amazed how much this buffer tightened my patterns using 00 buckshot. It made a real difference. Only reason I did not rate 5 stars is the price is very high for the quantity. | ||

| I utilize this shot buffer in all my buckshot loads. What people do not talk about is how well this shot buffer protects wads, shot and hulls from damage. A wad that is damage does not get to fulfill its full designed potential. The shot cup and pedals of a wad has a lot to do with producing acceptable shot patterns. This shot buffer is the trick that protects the wad, shot and hulls from larger diameter shot damage. Thank you BPI for another great product. | ||
