Our wax-treated hard card wads offer a superior seal between wad and barrel. A better gas seal yields improved velocities and more consistent performance. These wads are great for traditional upland loads, slugs, and as a spacer when a firm basewad is required.
Waxed wads are also excellent moisture barriers. These card wads work well for all card wad and filler applications.

Great for traditional loads | 10/15/2016 |
| I recently tried a traditional load for my old Winchester Model 12, and loved it. The load patterns great, opens a bit earlier than when I use modern plastic wads so it is perfect for shorter to mid-range shots that I see when hunting pheasants over my pointing dogs.
