Alliant Blue Dot was primarily designed for magnum hunting loads in 12ga shotshells ranging from 1-1/4 ounce to 2 ounces of lead shot. Blue Dot is very elastic and this attribute has allowed numerous different loadings in different gauges and varied weights. Blue Dot encompasses a wide range for magnum loadings. It is a very slow burn rate powder with a wide variety of uses.

| I have been trying to get this product for a hunting friend who has not been able to find blue dot anywhere. I did extensive research and ordered it from a few places who said they had it in stock, but turns out they didnt and everyone was being wait listed. This company shipped it within days and its exactly what I ordered! Im ecstatic that I have this in time for Christmas! 5 stars for service and delivery and actually having it in stock like they advertised! | ||

| I use this in magnum shot shells and magnum handguns. Very versitle slow burning powder. Wish that it would come back in stock somewhere. Have had a keg on backorder for almost 2 years at multiple stores. I will run out this fall so may have to fall back on a lesser quality powder and work up new loads. Sad since I have been using this powder for about 30 years. | ||
