Take your 16 gauge into 12 gauge mag territory! 6/16/2022
Guys, this wad holds 1.5 ounces of lead birdshot. I push it to 1125 fps with alliant steel or 1200 with lil gun. 1 5/8 is doable with lil gun is too. If you want heavy turkey loads for your 16 gauge, this wad will be your friend.

Great wad for 1 3/8 ounce lead loads. 12/31/2021
Using longshot powder and this wad for a great 1 3/8 ounce lead load with fiocchi or Cheddite hulls. Hits almost like a slug at 10 yards with the wad slit.

CSD 16GA WAD 11/12/2021
Great wad for loading almost all types of shot, been using this wad for years with great results!

No slits 3/2/2020
I bought these and found that putting 4 slits in each one was too time consuming and might not be perfect. I bought a bag of pre-slit wads elsewhere. Dont know what I will do with these.

When we describe these wads as "unslit" it means that they have no slits (see above). It also means that they can be customized to your type of shooting. This is what reloading is all about, custom performance. Steel shot wads are never molded with slits, because a molded slit will compromise protection and performance.
