GAEP Ribassatore Tool .410 (Stage 3 of GAEP Crimping)
The Ribassatore is a low-profile coil dome made of tempered steel. The controlled machining process incorporates a smooth single piece of steel. This crimp tool is indespensible to create a dome after the star crimp has been established and the Coniatore pre-dome has been set, but prior to the final star-crimping process.
The "Ribassatore" is the vital third stage of the GAEP crimping process, which produces a compacted dome, prior to the final crimp. This step produces a necessary phase of compaction and tightening in the fold crimp, essential for a professional finish to your cartridge.

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY:
The shotshell industry of Northern Italy is likely the oldest in the world. With the founding of major gun manufacturers, such as Beretta in 1526, cottage industry businesses sprang up around these areas. Gunsmiths, toolmakers, and ammunition specialists of all types helped to fuel innovation and invention. Like Italian cuisine, art, and architecture, ammunition and toolmaking are powered by passion and innovation. We are proud to be GAEP's appointed distributor of their fine loading products for North America. Our line of GAEP products will continue to grow and expand.
GAEP is an artisan manufacturer. Each tool requires painstaking hand-made precision. Our goal is to maintain a regular stock of as many of their products as possible. However, the logistics of their artisan production and the reality of importation from Italy means that we will have stock gaps from time to time. The best way to assure your order fulfillment is to place an order or back order. You order will not be charged until your product ships to you.
