GAEP Appiattitore Tool 12ga (Stage 4 of 5-Station Press)
The Appiattitore tool (aka The Flattener) is a critical piece in readying your cartridge prior to the crimp finisher stage. The flattener stabilizes and safeguards the case from minor deviations in crimp height when applying the crimp finisher (final stage).
The "Appiattitore" is the fourth stage of the GAEP crimping process, which readies the hull for the crimp finisher and sets the final crimp height.

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY:
The shotshell industry of Northern Italy is likely the oldest in the world. With the founding of major gun manufacturers, such as Beretta in 1526, cottage industry businesses sprang up around these areas. Gunsmiths, toolmakers, and ammunition specialists of all types helped to fuel innovation and invention. Like Italian cuisine, art, and architecture, ammunition and toolmaking are powered by passion and innovation. We are proud to be GAEP's appointed distributor of their fine loading products for North America. Our line of GAEP products will continue to grow and expand.
GAEP is an artisan manufacturer. Each tool requires painstaking hand-made precision. Our goal is to maintain a regular stock of as many of their products as possible. However, the logistics of their artisan production and the reality of importation from Italy means that we will have stock gaps from time to time. The best way to assure your order fulfillment is to place an order or back order. You order will not be charged until your product ships to you.
