BPI was the first source for Nickel-Plated Buckshot in American. This is the finest buckshot we've ever seen. A dense and hardened antimony lead core is first coated with a copper wash and then a heavy nickel plating.
Our nickel-plated shot is the real deal - not a "wash" coating. The thick exterior layer of nickel serves as the hardening catalyst for the entire pellet. It provides the essential hardness and reduced friction for maximum penetration capability. The first thing you'll notice about game that is hit with nickel-plated lead is the deep penetration and wound channels. The surface coating of nickel allows these pellets to effectively transmit lethal energy
This is the buckshot you want for maximun performance and lethality. There is nothing better. Please note that due to the plating process, the diameter of this shot will vary from its pure lead counterpart.
Sizing: Nickel-Plated Buckshot is made in Europe to metric standards. Therefore, some sizes might vary just a bit from what you'd expect from American sizing standards. This does not affect performance. It just means that reloaders must make small accommodations for these size variations. Your reward will be the finest buckshot loads known to the shotshell world.

| I ordered this Nickel Plated O Buck from Ballistic Products for Deer hunting. I loaded for 12 gauge using 3 Cheddite hull with 16 pellets of .31 Nickel Plated O Buck in a MG42 wad covered with BP original buffer over 28 grains of Longshot powder roll crimped. This load patterned well at 40 yards using my Benelli M2 using a Kicks Buckkicker XFull choke. I dropped a Whitetail Doe at 40 yards with this load were it stood with a high shoulder shot. I put six pellets in an area about the size of my hand. All but one passed through, the one that was recovered was barely deformed. Thanks for a Quality product BP! | ||
