Our lab has been working with Super Handicap more and more. A very general description of WSH's burn rate is somewhere between Green Dot and International Clays. So, if you like those powders and you can't find them anywhere, then you should really take a hard look at WSH. Remember, WSH is the same propellant used in Winchester's own Super Handicap shotshells. If it is good enough for Winchester, it is good enough for us!

This mid-range burn rate powder gives the shooter great velocities for handicap for long-range trap and sporting clays loads at up to 1250 fps with a 1-1/8 ounce shot charge. We are zipping lighter shot charges at much higher velocities - and the Curmudgeon likes that! This powder is extremely clean burning and highly consistent, which can be seen in our standard deviations in the ballistic lab.

• WSH produces high-velocity loads with 7/8 oz and ¾ oz in the 12ga.
