Nitro cards of the same gauge as the load can sit below the seal (if recommended for the load), and felt wads or fiber wads sit directly below the pellets inside the cup. The felt fillers will flatten with setback, allowing any pellets sitting higher than the top edge of the shotcup to become encased.
