LOAD OF THE WEEK
Fiocchi 12ga 3” Buckshot
Our lab has been working more with the Fiocchi 616-Magnum
Primer. This primer is now standard in production Fiocchi 3” and
3-1/2” 12ga hulls. It is quite a bit hotter than their Standard
616 Primer. The lab has noted differing reactions to this primer
with different powders. Longshot has shown a very volatile
change, which could be traced to Longshot’s ignition qualities.
Primer Notice: Do NOT use the Magnum primer in load
data that specifies the standard Fiocchi 616 primer.
